FULL BREAST PAIN AFTER HUBBY SUCKING ON THEM? ok so im 38 weeks, and every once in a while i like my hubby to suck on them....
anyway its been like 2 hours sense he did that today and the whole breast is sore.
am i ok....should i be worried? |
| Well, all that "attention" he paid to them made them sore, plus the fact you are pregnant. Let them rest for a couple days. |
If I suck my girl friends breasts during pregnancy will this cause premature lactation? I know that the milk she is producing at the moment is different from the stuff the baby will drink, but by sucking her breasts now will I cause the thick creamy milk to come out? If so, does this mean she can not produce the watery milk full of antibodies for the baby when it comes? |
| nope, you can do whatever you want to her breasts and it wont change a thing. |
I have an habbit of sucking my wife's breast which are full of milk. Our guy does not take the milk.? Our guy is one and half year old. I just want to know that is it right that i have taken the milk. My wife has no objection. Tell me? |
| Whatever floats your boat |
Sucking the breasts........? I have a cat with two full grown up kittens rather cats, but they both still suck on the breast of their mom cat, why...lol |
| lol... probably because they were never weened? LOL a lot of cats do that for some reason. |
When a baby is nursing properly, should they be sucking as hard or harder than a pump? My son is five weeks old and I've been trying on and off to nurse him. Mainly I have been pumping. At night he seems to be receptive to the breast, but he is sucking much softer then the electric pump I use. I also hear swallowing but he is usually still hungry. In order to get full, should he be sucking as hard as the pump? |
The actual answer is that they suck differently. The baby is easier on you since you and your baby were designed through evolution to nurse.
How do you know he's hungry? Is he not making enough wet diapers? Most babies do something called cluster feeding at night where they seemingly nurse constantly for several hours. That DOESN'T they're hungry. They're actually "tanking up" to sleep a little longer.
To keep your milk supply, nurse your baby as often as possible. It's hard to maintain your supply when you're mostly pumping.
Babies nurse for a variety of reasons, hunger is just one of them. Sucking helps their brains develop--that's why even if it seems like he's not nursing for milk, he's nursing to build his brain.
Don't forget, the pump is a modern invention--your baby will always do a better job at getting milk from you than a pump. |
My breast is swollen and red and full of milk, but my son has been unable to get any out ? I've been weaning my son for a couple of weeks because he's been teething on me, but I've been feeding him to slowly cut back on my supply. The past couple of days one of my breast have been very full, and sore (red), and my son can suck and suck and it stays the same. I squeeze and nothing comes out...but it hurts! |
| Your breast has an infection.Don't squeeze it.Go to your doctor.He/she will examinate your breast and tells you if you must take medicines and shows you what to do to relief.Don't try to breastfeed your baby until your problem been resolved. |
Man sucking on my breast? Last night I had a dream I let some random guy suckle on my breast. It was really bizarre. He had it in his mouth like a baby would when feeding. I knew in the dream I wasn't breast feeding the man, he just liked sucking on breasts so I let him. Right now, I am getting close to my period and my breasts are sore and full, so could that have anything to do with this dream?? Normally I have very set themes to my dreams, so this random one threw me off lol. Thank you for any insight! |

How do I know when my 3 week old is full? Do they stop drinking when they are full? Or are they like a dog that you keep feeding him and he'll keep eating? The reason is because my beautiful son will keep doing the sucking motion and cry even after he has drank about 4 oz of breast milk. Is he still hungry? |
| He may be going through a growth spurt. Try and go past 4 uonces and se what happens. Babies feed on demand and when there hungry they'll eat and eat till their bellies are satisfied. |
Breasts still full after breastfeeding sessions. So uncomfortable, what can I do? So yeah, I breastfeed my baby on demand, its usually around 20 minutes or so (one breast first and then the other one next time she wants to be fed). The problem is that my milk never runs out! Like even if she sucks milk for 35 minutes or more, my boob would still be hard-ish cause theres still a lot of milk left! is this normal?? or should I be worried? her bowel movements are between the range and her pee too, its just my boobs acting like a neverending barrell and they hurt a lot! please help! |
| pump and freeze! I put mines in the freezer and I was able to bottle feed my baby my milk for a month after I decided to stop breastfeeding |
How do you know when baby is full (from breast milk) ? Hi all! Ok, im going to be a mum in August, im 34 weeks pregnant with a baby girl :D -my first-Though just a quick question; how will i know my baby has finished feeding from my breast? Will she stop sucking? Will she pull away? Im confused :s Im just wondering if Baby will know herself when she is full, or whever i have to take initiative and remove her from the breast after a period of time... I don't have a clue!
I know that you can tell when a baby is hungry when they pull 'that face' like the sucking kind of motion and moving their lips about/ when they cry, but don't know how to tell when they are full!
Im supposed to be starting a breast feeding workshop soon but have not heard back from them yet!
Many thanks in advance, God Bless :) ~x~ |
Congrats on your pregnancy!
Generally, with breastfeeding, the best thing to do is follow baby's cues. She'll let you know when she's done. She'll either fall asleep at the breast, pull away, etc. When they're newborns, they tend to be very snoozy at the breast, so they nurse in small, frequent sessions. It will seem like they fall asleep just about every time they nurse, for some babies. As they get a little older, their patterns will usually change a bit, and they don't usually fall asleep every time they nurse. They might pull away and want to play with you or look around.
Bottom line - she'll pretty much let you know. :)
