Teen movies about sex, drugs and violence? Apart from Thirteen, Kids, Kid/Adulthood and The Basketball Diaries, I don't really know that many movies that deal with these topics.
I understand Swedish, Norwegian and Danish as well as English, so feel free to mention more than just US movies. :) Also, I'd rather keep it drama, I'm not so big on teen comedies. | Havoc (Anne Hathaway)
Dazed & Confused (Jason London, Matthew McConaughey, Milla Jovovich) | What are newer teen movies? For a 14 year old girl. i want something NO OLDER THAN 2009! just something girly and fun. disney is ok, like starstruck or whatever, but maybe something a little more mature :P but if you know a really good disney one feel free lol. i like romance, comedy, and drama. espesh romance :) a bit of swearing or sex ref. is ok but not just totally overboard with it like, idk.....meet the f*ckers. lol. although i actually enjoyed that movie..
Ta! | Dear John

Whip it | Are we ruining society by allowing free speech? Movies and music glorify sex and drugs in a way we've never seen before. STDs are on the rise again, teen pregnancies are more and more common, and more and more guys are getting into drugs/alcohol.
Suppose we banned movies and music that glorified sex and drugs.
Oh wait, everyone would be angry because that's getting rid of free speech.
So are we supposed to allow society to ruin itself in the name of free speech? | How about giving the boys more education on the subject?
BoysGirlsNSexEd.org | When I recently searched my name it came up in some links associated with porn websites. Can this be removed? Searching my name came up with links that had my name in them. I don't know how this came about. The link seems to be to celebrity and other porn type sites. When I click on them it brings me to a "spy scanner" site which looks like a virus. I'm concerned that others who search my name will see it associated with "teen sex/Princess Diana death photo's/other nude photos/etc". The search has roughly 7 links like this. All of them are similar..one is 9ulde-free-movies.cn. How can I remove this or stop this from happening. I'm concerned with my reputation | If you have a relatively common name, and/or your name is similar to that of a celebrity or a pr0n star, don't worry about it. Most likely what you're seeing is that operators of the pr0n and celebrity sites are hiding all kinds of common words (and famous names) on their sites' pages in order to make them come up higher in search engine results.
For example, during the recent to-do about Vanessa Hudgens from High School Musical having had a nude picture taken, there were probably all kinds of searches having to do with her name. A savvy pr0n site operator might put her name someplace on his site (even if he doesn't have any content that has anything to do with her) so that his site would show up in the results when people were doing all those searches for her.
EDIT: It's not unusual for pr0n movie "stars" to come up with off-the-wall stage names. You probably just got unlucky and one of them coined a name similar to your real one, and then the pr0n site operators slipped that star's stage name into their sites, as I talked about before.
As for your reputation, just make sure that the people who **need** to contact you have the appropriate information ... either by way of your slowmail and e-mail addresses on business cards, give them the URL for your business's website, whatever applies to you. That way, people who NEED to reach you already have the info so they won't have to resort to searching on Google or Yahoo and then finding your name linked with pr0n sites.
There's lots of garbage on the Internet, anyway. The people who know you, even if only slightly, can probably tell the difference between what's really associated with your name and the garbage that some slimey web operator has on his China-based site. | Specific film look up, by story? What was the name of the film that in the story, the mother was trying to make her daughter successful at stage, throughout the film, but at the end, the girl was fed up, and left her mother by marrying a boy, because Florida laws (where they were visiting then) allowed a girl to marry at 12, without permission?
Or, more systematically, is there some tool/portal for looking up movies by their story development, or spoiler (that is, metadata for restricting the search keywords to the portions of the films)? In this, not all Florida-context movies, but only the Florida @ final.
P.S: That law must have changed, because throughout the United States, age of marrying has been on the rise in the last century -- while teen-sex rate is, too! Sex is "free," while marrying is forbidden. Or, worse, marrying is forbidden, unless premarital sex occurs. The old corrupt trick (that had left lots of girls tasted & left) is now supported/endorsed by law, if you would like to marry while teen.
P.S. 2: I'm not exactly endorsing marrying at this or that age -- if age is defined by calendar age, not IQ & EQ. | | I'm really not sure, check on Wikipedia | Why does it feel like everything is so sexual now a days? I mean its everywhere. At school, at home, magazines, television, the internet, even in the parking lot behind McDonald's. Girls wear more revealing than ever clothes and guys are even more open to drooling about it. Sexual jokes are becoming more and more acceptable in school and at work. And ultimately sex is becoming way more acceptable at earlier ages. I feel like i cant enjoy a good movie without sex being shoved in my face. And its like comedians think they have to degrade women and talk about sexual experiences to be funny. I just want to throw up sometimes when i think about it all. I'm not talking about this being sickening in a god way, im actually atheist. But the thing is, I don't remember the world being like this when i was a guy(im only 14). I surely would have remembered something similar if it was. You know whenever you turn on the tv its something about making yourself look hot, or sex. Even my friends are quite perverted at times, and i have to deal with it. I know that sex is just part of human life, i know that its something that we all came from. But why should i have to have it shoved in my face constantly when all i want to do is forget it for just a few more years. Why do guys always have to want to talk about 'getting laid'. And why do all girls have to be their standard of 'hot'. Why do guys get made fun of in school for being a virgin? There is nothing wrong with being a virgin as a teenager, and its sickening to think that people would be so cruel as to make fun of someone else for that. I don't want to live in a world where sex is around ever corner, where i have to be perfect for men. I don't want to turn on the radio and only hear songs about a stripper or they way a girls moves her body. I don't want to have meaningless sex like they do on tv. I don't want to have to listen to one sex joke after another when im trying to get to class. I don't want to have raise my guyren in a world like that either. So my question is why does everything have to be so sexual these days? Why do songs, movies, television, and media in general always have to be about sex? Whats wrong with keeping your innocence through your teen years and through college? Whats wrong with having a sex-free relationship? And finally where and why did this new trend start? | I know exactly what you mean! I have to put up with some of my friends that always make these sexual/perverted jokes and turn everything into something sexual. I've complained about this multiple times with a few of my friends who don't do this. There are people in my high school who lose their virginity at young ages because they think they're in love. There are guys still in the elementary school I came from that are doing sexual things and it boggles my mind. I hate being surround by these things in our society. It makes me so angry. Why does it have to be everywhere? Every movie has a sex scene. Everybody thinks they have to make sexual references to get laughs. Some people think you're a loser if you're a virgin and I think that's just stupid. I'm a virgin and I'm not gonna have sex just it's "cool" or whatever.
I honestly don't know why things are this way. I think it's because that's what sells and it seems to be what a lot of people in this society want. I believe it's always been here, but it's just that now it's acceptable to have these sexual things everywhere in the mainstream, I guess you could say. Because back in like the classic Hollywood days, a sex scene, like in today's movies, in those times, would be banned and everything. I think that our society just grew and changed over the decades and things have just become more acceptable and there are many who don't seem to mind anymore.
-Shaii | Discussion About Sex Offenders? This is a serious question with regards to sex offenders.
(Please read the entire blog[s] before making your decision. This will be broken up into sections to make this all fit.)
First, let me just say I am totally against sexual assaults of any kind. This question is for people to think. Not just jump to conclusions. Just think. This is based on stories that were coming out of Atlanta that sex offenders were being forced out the woods because they have no other place to live by legalities. They are not allowed to come within a certain number of feet to a guy even if their assault was against a man or woman (yes there are women sex offenders).
So, the question is, should sex offenders be allowed to live wherever they want if they paid their debt to society? Should the law be revised in certain situations?
Now before you say no, think about these case scenarios below that I am about to tell you and see whether or not you answer would still be no.
Case Scenario #1-
Two teenagers are dating. They believe things are getting serious and they want to take their relationship to the next level sexually. (Before you people out there start preaching I am advocating sex between minors/teens need to check themselves. I am not and never will. But in this day and age, it IS A REALITY that it is happening.) So they decide to have sex with each other. Somehow the parents finds out and
1. The girl becomes frightened and lie, telling them she was raped or
2. The parents are upset and want to charge the male with rape because their daughter is a minor and don't care whether or not it was consensual or not. They just want to see the boy pay.
Now this teen life is forever changed and will always be labeled as a sex offender. Now, he has spent his time in jail, paid his debt to society and now is a free man with a burden. Should he be able to live where ever he wants without scrutiny? Should the law be revised for someone like this?
Case Scenario #2-
A female decides to tutor guyren for a little extra pay. So she tutors a few young boys and saw no problem with it. A few of the boys tried to flirt sexually with the woman but she rightfully rejected their advances. Now, one of the boys was highly offended and wanted to get back at the woman for rejecting him. He claims to his friends that he and the tutor had sexual relations and somehow it reaches his parents. So, instead of telling the truth when confronted about the rumor the boy doesn't confirm or deny the allegations. The parents feel their son has been a victim of sexual abuse from an legal adult. Charges are pressed and the woman for some reason (it happens, really) loses the case and is sent to jail and labeled as a sex offender for the rest of her life, and she will also be considered a guy molester. Hence, her life is forever changed and burdened with this charge. Should she get a second chance and live where she wants without scrutiny? Should the law be revised with people in her case which later be proven unjust?
Case Scenario #3-
A man is married with guyren. He loves his family and is totally devoted them in every way. At his work there is a new employee that is sexually attracted to him. (Sort of think of the movie Obsessed with Beyonce in it but not exactly) The employee tries on a number of occasions to seduce the man. There is a company trip where they are set up at an hotel and their rooms are next to each other. The woman goes to the man room and the man mistakenly let the woman trying to be polite. The woman against tries to seduce the man and is rejected. Now upset, the woman is spiteful and puts a false report of sexual assault and attempted rape on the man with the police. For some reason, there is not enough to evidence to determine whether or not the woman is telling the truth or lying and the case is left up to a jury. Because the woman played the sympathetic woman card on the stand (it seriously happens people, I'm not making this up) the jury saw it her way and found the man guilty. The man, appeals while in prison, won the appeal based on the woman admitted she lied, but is still is labeled a sex offender/attempted rapist. Should this man, and people like him, get a break and start a new life? Most and likely his family would stand behind because they are so very close.
So do you still say all sex offenders should get a second chance and live wherever they want without scrutiny? Should the law change to help individuals like this so they will not be considered sex offenders anymore?
Now, let me say this. I am not forgetting about the actual sex offenders that intentionally committed crimes against victims. Even though they may have paid their debt to society, society still needs to be protected because there is no clear cut view on whether or not they have been rehabilitated. In cases of guy abuse (sexual or not) should never be allowed close to guyren again. (Not talking about a teenager charged with chil | I certainly think the law needs to be revised. I know someone who fits description in case senario #1. He actually served time in prison before the girl recanted. Even though she recanted, he is still a registered sex offender. It's very sad.
I live near Atlanta and can understand the situation those offenders living in the woods are facing. It's rediculous.
I think the law should not be so broad, but judges should be able to make the punishment fit the crime, including what happens after they serve their time. | What are boyfriend X girlfriend relationships for? Is there a need for teens to have boyfriendXgirlfriend relationships? So you've gone through all that crap to get a girlfriend. Now what? You got her so you could watch movies and hug the heck out of each other through the whole thing? Status? Free clean sex?
Free clean sex seems much more valid, because most of the time, people who uses that reason don't believe in love. This question is for those who believe in love.
If your reason is "To prepare for the future", then your boyfriend is not so special anymore, since your probably part of the majority who breaks up with boyfriends.
So...what? I've seen people who said that it's to bring the lovin' to the next level. But then, they're the ones who has lots of boyfiends. (2 or more is a lot, based on their opinion about love.)
And it seems pointless, having a relationship used for hugging and kissing, trying to be sweet. Exaggerating the crush, trying desperately to tell themselves that they're in love...but does love exist? | | your gay and annoying | Did my boyfriend watch porn ot not? I asked my boyfriend whether he watched porn on the pc, and he sweared on my life that he didn't. He's a pc expert and so had many possible explanations as to why these google search results (of images and videos) appeared in the history. I'm not sure whether I believe him as things haven't been that great between us recently.
We've been together 3.5 years and I was convinced he was the one for me. Now I've been financially supporting him for 2.5 years (he can't seem to find a job) and I'm trying very hard to function, having recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome (already having Graves' disease).
I just don't know what to do. It would help me to know whether it's possible to generate above-mentioned history without actually having visited the pages so I know whether he's lied to me. | | Almost all guys like watching, so chances are yes. Why are you so concerned about it? It's common. | Why do teens seem so determined or pressured to have sex? I remember the ideas and pressures going around when I was in high school (class of '03). But even as a teenager, I remember thinking to myself that we were too young to take on so much.
I'm 25 and expecting our first guy in April, and naturally, the pregnancy is sending all these thoughts of the future through my mind. We'll be watching TV or a movie and my husband or I will ask the other "Oh my god! What are we going to do if he/she does that!?" "What are we going to tell them to keep them from having sex?"
I remember my thoughts as a teenager. I don't know why, but my friends and I just had this idea that our parents had no idea what we were going through (lol, like they'd never been teenagers in their life!). I know now that that was foolish and stupid. But even as a teenager, I never would have given in to the idea of sex. Hell, I avoided dating altogether, and when I was asked out by anyone who wasn't a complete outcast, I immediately yelled no in his face and assumed he was only asking me out to try and get me to sleep with him. Now, it's bad to assume anything about anyone, but as a teenager, lol, I almost hope my guys think the same way...because I don't want them to have sex as teenagers.
I'm sure the media and movies are making a bigger fuss than they need to...they always do. But it just seems like the sex craze is getting worse and worse amongst teenagers. Why do teens seem so determined to have sex? Do they think it makes them an adult? Is it the rumors about how "great" it feels? (Lol, I lost my virginity at 21, and I'm married to the same man I lost it to, and we've been having sex for the last 4 years, and it STILL hurts!)
Feel free to tell stories of your own experiences: when you first had sex, whether you regret it, approaches you or your parents took that kept you away (or failed to) | I'm only a teenager (19) and I haven't had sex, heck I haven't even dated before. But I know of the risk involved and frankly I don't think I could even have sex with someone unless I knew him well, trusted him and even love him. But if we've only known each other for a little while then I can't imagine myself sleeping with him. To be honest I have no idea what I would be feeling once I do meet someone I'm attracted to and want to date but I hope and like to think that no matter what I'm going to take things slow and not let him pressure me to sleep with him.
Even with the media and such I just think it's important to talk to your guys about sex, even from an early age. Tell them that they can be comfortable talking to you about this stuff, warn them of the consequences of sex and how to protect themselves and tell them to not fall for peer pressure because it's not worth it. I think you just mainly have to talk to your guys about this and tell them to do what feels right to me, not what feels right for everyone else. |
